XC skiing turned out to be a no-go due to icy conditions. We opted for the Kendall Square Rink instead and got there when it opened. XC skiing turned out to be a no-go due to icy conditions. We opted for the Kendall Square Rink instead and got there when it opened. For the first time, B. enjoyed herself, probably because it was fairly warm (in the 40's). Good thing too, since I forgot to bring her mittens and hat.
